Dreams are something that are used to give hopes for a person to live a happy life. Dreams can be seen with open eyes and with closed eyes as well.

It is basic to dream first and then we have to do our work to fulfill those dreams.

1.Precognitive dreams are dreams that appear to predict the future through a sixth sense.

3.Researchers have found that during rapid eye movement (REM) ,our brain is in the most active state and we experience most vivid or clear dreams during this stage of sleep.

4.During sleep, the key factor that make our memory is inactive  because of this we forgot most of our dreams immediately after waking up.
                 But we can remember some of our dreams in case of REM mentioned above.

5.It’s been estimated that more than 2 hours out of each night’s sleep are spent dreaming.As for a lifetime, an average human being spends around 6 years of his/her life – dreaming.The average person has about 1,460 dreams a year. That’s about four per night.

6.Atony is referred to the paralyzed or extremely relaxed state of skeletal muscles in rapid eye movement sleep (REM sleep).
                          It is simple - REM atonia makes our muscles inactive to protect us.since our motor neurons are not stimulated and they are very relaxed,ourbody does not move. So, we are paralysed while sleeping.

7.Dimethyltryptamine, also known as DMT is an isolated and synthetic form of the chemical our brains produce naturally during dreaming.
It is released during dreams as well as at  or shortly before birth and death. DMT is produced in our pineal gland, along with the hormone melatonin, that affects our sleep patterns and circadian rhythms.
8.Dreams can improve your performance in seemingly unrelated areas of your everyday life. 
9. About 50-85% of the adults occasionally have nightmares.
10.Till the age of 4, toddlers cannot include themselves in their own dreams.This is because they are not self-aware about themselves.Also, because their brain is less developed since birth in order to dream more intense and deep.

11.Egyptian were first to create dream dictionary in 4000B.C.E.
